Café in Tacoma, Washington

The glass is half full

Speaking of an eye-catcher! We supplied this custom floor for a café in Tacoma, Washington. It was one of the first major projects we did in America, but it is still one of our favourites. That is because it looks like a random mosaic pattern, but it’s not. Those who look closely, will notice the floor actually consists out of martini glasses! Read more about this project below.

Porcelain floor mosaics

We used the London collection for this custom floor. These full body, unglazed porcelain mosaics are available in various shapes and sizes and therefore allow us to design any pattern. These mosaics also have a nonslip rating of R11/C and are perfect for high traffic floors. We used the small squares for this project, in black and white (LO2317 and LO2310S).

We supply these floors on numbered sheets, with a layout scheme and tiling instructions. Interested in custom work for your next project? We are happy to think along and tell you more about the possibilities. Please contact us for more information!
