Mosaic trends 2022
The past years we were forced to take things slow. No more running but standing still. We stayed at home and went for quality, instead of quantity. This standard shifted to our interiors as well. Simplicity became key, with more attention to environment and sustainability. We are therefore seeing more natural materials this year, often incorporated into organic shapes. Trend colours of 2022 seamlessly blend in with this: fresh blue colours, but also muted earthy tones.
These trend colours can be found in most of our collections. For example, the London collection offers lots of classic, muted earth tones. In addition, the Sevilla collection includes mosaics in the deep colours of nature, like forest green and speckled yellow. Want to see more mosaics that fit with the interior trends of 2022? Blue mosaics to freshen up your interior
Blue represents wisdom, trust, and peace. A great colour to have in your home, right? This year we will mostly see interior designs with lighter shades of blue, like pastel and turquoise. Most of our collections include these colours, like baby blue hexagon mosaics in the Barcelona collection or light blue glass mosaics in the Amsterdam collection. Looking for a more subtle shade? Discover the white kitkat with blue speckle.
A peaceful home with earthy tones
Earth tones ensure a calm and peaceful interior design. Matt mosaics are most suitable for those designs, like the ones we find in the London collection. These unglazed mosaics are suitable for both the wall and floor and available in various earth tones, like beige, cream, and light grey. If you want to add more depth and texture to a room, the natural stone mosaics might be a good fit as well.
Sustainable mosaics made of recycled glass
Sustainability remains an important topic. Eco-friendly is the way to, also in our homes. Do you want to create a more sustainable interior design? You will love our Valencia collection. These mosaics are made of recycled window glass, making them a particularly eco-friendly choice. The Valencia collection includes various bold colours, but also some muted shades. We think the matt khaki tile is a great option if you want to follow other interior trends.
Organic shapes with kitkat mosaics
This year we will see lots of organic shapes incorporated into interior designs. All though mosaics are quite straight, some of them are very suitable for covering organic shapes. For example, kitkat mosaics from the Sevilla collection are often used on curved surfaces, like the rounded edges of bars and desks. Go for the Café Latte or Forest Green to comply with the trend colours of this year as well.
